Value for money very disappointing. The portions are very small in relation to the price. My main course was a rump steak for € 21.90 with french fries, which you can't really go wrong with. Unless it's too small. It was definitely not 180g. Compared to other restaurants in Oberstorf, this portion won't fill a normal person. My wife had a turkey breast with vegetables and fries for € 17.90. The turkey breast tasted good. The vegetables looked like a catastrophe. For this price I ask for fresh vegetables, not from the freezer as in this restaurant. The taste of the food was good.

I can only recommend the Bacchus Stuben! After 15 minutes we had our meal which was very, very tasty. The two from the service were super courteous and very quick even though the beer garden was really full. With great pleasure again😊

Stayed there three times. Not a single complaint. Friendly and quick service, great ambience on the terrace, reasonable prices and the rump steak with chanterelles a dream. This place is the first choice for your next vacation.

Very disappointing !!! Daily special ordered: chicken cordon bleue and French fries, with a beer. A small piece of cordon bleue, very dry, with dry french fries, garnished with a piece of parsley. I get that better at the Eismann / Bofrost! In addition a beer from the bottle! If I want a beer from the bottle, I buy one in the supermarket. Price? € 13.90 for food and € 3.80 for a bottle of beer. In my opinion an absolute cheek and unique in Oberstdorf, I ate better there in 1970 in the GDR! We will avoid this place in the future in a big arc ...

Unfortunately, the kitchen performance did not meet our expectations, which were raised by the menu, the quoted VARTA entry, and the corresponding prices. The service was tried and friendly. The highlight was the red wine from the bottle, Primotivo Salento, from the heel of Italy, a poem and not exaggerated in price. What was really annoying was the "summer salad plate with fried chanterelles (vegetarian)" for 16.90 EUR. The "summer salads" turned out to be balls, consisting of grated carrot, cucumber and white cabbage, garnished with a few leaves of romaine and lettuce. The steak was ok, even if it was not "medium" as shown on the menu, rather "rare", but its size was not for mountain hikers who followed their wife on the mountain all day. Anyone who is satisfied with 160 grams should have no problem, at least quantitatively. We were very disappointed and should have trusted our landlord's advice. As it is, the best experiences are those you have made yourself. Ergo, we won't be back.

So far I was satisfied with the staff and above all the quality of what was offered. However, there was too little liver on the plate for the calf's liver. With pancake soup as a starter and parfait as a dessert, I was still full. Wheat beer was good as was the latte macchiato. Maybe set another operation. The poor ladies seemed to me to be quite stressed out.

We always like to go to this restaurant. So far, we have always eaten there really well. The waitresses are friendly and attentive. The audience mostly older and therefore quiet. Even if the emphasis is more on wine, you can also enjoy a good beer here. The interior is a bit older, yet it gives a very cozy atmosphere. Outside you can sit wonderfully. If you look across the tennis court you can also see mountains. The garden is nicely decorated.

Lovely dining room, very friendly and attentive service, and the food (Egli filet and Schupfnudeln with cheese) well prepared and delicious! Prices were very reasonable.
